The Review: Kalaya Foot Cream
Tired of having dry feet - same! Especially those of us who have jobs that require standing all day - am I right?! With the summer coming to an end and winter fast approaching, our skin is also transitioning to adapt to the cooler weather. Dryness and dehydration worsens in the cooler months, especially on our feet! So, without further ado, this month’s review is on Kalaya's Foot Cream which is perfect for this time of year.

The Brand: Kalaya
Being a 100% Canadian brand, research development and manufacturing takes place in Cambridge, Ontario, so it’s a brand that I can always count on and trust. Kalaya provides us with products that allow us to care for our skin more naturally! The most natural ingredients are used - which are free of parabens, phthalates and sulfates, you never have to worry because Kalaya products are never tested on animals! Kalaya is also a medically directed company and their products are designed by a Physician and Pharmacist who extensively research and test their products to ensure maximum efficacy!

The Product: Kalaya Foot Cream
Kalaya has medically formulated their Foot Cream specifically to exfoliate and repair dry, cracked skin on the feet. Designed with naturally exfoliating ingredients like Salicylic and Glycolic Acid, this treatment softens and soothes the feet. Plus, it's formulated with natural essential oils like peppermint and eucalyptus to give you that refreshed and relaxed feeling you get after leaving the spa (but at home)!
What's In It?
This Foot Cream is packed with natural oils like Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Spearmint as well as exfoliating ingredients Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid. Eucalyptus oil blends well with other essential oils like peppermint, and is commonly used in aromatherapy because of its refreshing attributes. Peppermint oil contains menthol which is great for the skin and gives that cooling sensation. It nourishes and improves dull, dry skin as well helping with removing foot odour! (Which only gets worse when you're bundling your feet up into winter boots). Spearmint oil helps to soothe and relax all those muscles in the feet, which will give your feet the energy they're lacking! Salicylic Acid is used on the feet to help remove calluses and remove dry and dead skin. Glycolic Acid acts as a great moisturizer to help smooth and rejuvenate your skin, as well it works with the Salicylic Acid to help remove the dead skin from your feet. Plus, like all Kalaya body care, the Foot Cream also contains moisturizing ingredients like Rice Bran Oil, Shea Butter and Sunflower Seed Oil.
The Kalaya Foot Cream is only $9.99 so it's a great and affordable way to take care of your feet right in your own home. By just applying it twice a day and massaging the cream into my skin until penetrated, they soon felt softer, smoother and restored. Before bed I'd apply it and then sleep with socks on, not only to keep my bed sheet clean, but also to keep the moisture in. In the morning they were super soft and smelt amazing - definitely recommend! I love the peppermint scent that comes along with this cream, and after I've used it I instantly feel much more relaxed and rejuvenated - perfect for getting over the summertime sadness this time of year.
